Senior Championship :

It’s that time of year with the first round of the championship on our doorstep. Yet again, Kildangan play Moneygall in the first round. The last few meetings have been tightly contested with Kildangan coming out victorious, so Moneygall will be looking to turn the tide. The very best of luck to all the panel & mentors. Match will be played in Cloughjordan on Sat evening at 7pm.

Junior A :

After a slow start on Sun morn, Kildangan came out winners in their game against Kilruane. At halftime, Kildangan were down 0-10 to 1-4. In the second half, Kildangan could do no wrong and were convincing winners with a 6-12 to 0-14 point win. Paddy Coen, Tommy Hanrahan, James Flannery(m), Ger Quinn, Paraic Kelly, Brian McLoughlin, Martin Minehan, James Flannery (j), Conor Foley(1pt), Eanna Gleeson(3pt), Eoin Kelly(2pt), Eddie Fogarty, John Hayes(1g,3f,3pt), Rory Whelan(4g), Cian Hayes(1g).

U’21 Hurling :

Kildangan had a nice win over Newport, Kildangan 2-17, Newport 2-6. Check North Board notes for next round.

Lotto Draw :

Our lotto was not won at the weekend, so it is now at €11,100. The next draw will be Kennedy’s pub on next Sun night. Tickets are available in the local shops, pubs and can also be purchased from any club officer or player.

North Tipp U’16 :

Well done to North Tipp U’16’s who defeated East Waterford in the Munster final after extra time. Special congratulations to Stephen James Gleeson and Liam Kelly, Ashley Park, who are involved with the team.

Tipp Minors :

Best of luck to Cian Hayes, Ruairi Gleeson & Joe Gallagher, who are on the panel of the Tipp minors that play Limerick this evening.

Defibrillator Draw Results :

Our draw was held on last Sun. night week and was an huge success. Thank you to all those who sponsored prizes and to those who gave cash donations towards the purchase of the defibrillator. The money raised will purchase the defibrillator itself, but will also go towards the training of individuals involved with the various teams in the club. Draw results as follows: 1st prize: Computer - Bernard Kelly, Ballybrittas 2nd prize: Load of timber - Rodgie Gleeson, Johnstown 3rd prize: Ewe in lamb - Martin Hogan, Carrig. 4th prize: Bottle of Baileys - James Mulqueen, Ballydrennan 5th prize: Bottle of wine/Meat Voucher - Eileen Kiely, Ballycraggan 6th prize: Bottle of Brandy - Lelia Kelly, Pocan.
