Tipp Seniors

TIPPERARY 0-19 WATERFORD 0-16
Tipperary's Senior Hurlers maintained their 100% record under Babs Keating. Donal Shelly opened Tipperary's account with a point after a good pass from Darragh Egan. Tipperary finished the half strongly and good points from play by Evan Hanley, Seamus Butler and Darragh Egan in addition to a Paddy O'Brien pointed free saw the home side take a 0-12 to 0-10 interval lead. Up front, centre-forward Darragh Egan was quite effective in the first half in particular, winning some good possession and laying off balls to his team-mates. Darragh was moved in to Full-forward midway through the second half.
